Chianti Area
Poggio Casciano Estate – In the heart of Chianti and just a few kilometres from Florence, this beautiful villa is a unique blend of modern and traditional architecture and wines. The vineyards and cellars are modern in appearance but hold plenty of history with part of the cellar dating back to the medieval era, despite its contemporary appearance and machinery. With 60 of the 222 hectares of estate devoted to vineyards, the varied landscape also means that Poggio Casciano can create various types of wine.
Montemasso – In a stunning location, perched high on a hill overlooking the surrounding area, the Montemasso estate dates back to the 11th century and boasts enviable views over Florence. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and forests, this stunning building specialises in rich red wines which are grown on the 29 hectares of land which slope steeply around the building.
Sante Dame – A unique and traditional building, this beautiful winery has a 15th century fresco in a small chapel in the estate’s grounds and a 12th century pilgrim hermitage, and is surrounding by forests and vineyards. The Sante Dame has an ideal location for production of wine and there are 70 hectares of vineyards.
Castello dei Rampolla – Dating back to the 13th century and boasting 42 hectares of vineyards, this winery makes the most of its climate and position by producing well-aged wines. The modern cellars and equipment mean the process is easy and smooth, and utilised to its best. Known for high quality wines, the Castello dei Rampolla prides itself on these aged wines.
Cennatoio – Managed by the same people since 1971, this beautifully located winery has amazing views of the surrounding countryside where olive groves and vineyards stretch for what seems an eternity, and dotted in between are quaint churches and castle ruins. Producing a wide range of wines, the soil here is stony and hard, and is exposed to the south meaning that wines are strong and harsh.

Montepulciano Area
Poderi Boscarelli – Opening as a running winery in the 1960’s this estate is family run and as a result every little detail is taken care of from the cultivation of the grapes to the creating of the wine. Focusing on quality rather than quantity, the Poderi Boscarelli has a modern approach and boasts 18 hectares of land with 13 and a half of vineyards and the rest devoted to olive groves and woodland. Around 70,000 bottles are produced each year here with numerous varieties of wine.

Villa Sant Anna – Owned and run by a group of women from one family who aim to keep the ancient traditions of the estate alive. The Villa Sant Anna focuses on the marketing of high quality wines from its 12 hectares of vineyards that lie 350 metres above sea level with pebbly soils. The wine cellars of the winery offer spacious, yet traditional, areas where French oak casks hold the highly recommended wines of this producer.

Tenuta Valdipiatta – Situated on outskirts of Montepulciano with 75 hectares of space, 30 of these make up the vineyards and is of the most prestigious wineries in Tuscany producing one of the most popular wines of the region. Transformed from a small farm in the 1970’s it was just the picturesque location that it was known for, now, with the estate restored and new vines in place, it is one of the region’s best known wineries. Producing both white and red wines, and with a stunning cellar with a vault, this winery really is a success.
Montalcino Area
Fanti Tenuta San Filippo – Owned and run by the Fanti family since the 18th century, this well established winery has 300 hectares of estate with over 8500 olive trees, 80 hectares of seeding plots and 70 hectares of forests. Due to its location, the area receives strong exposure to the sun and fresh winds during the day meaning the grapes are well cultivated, and so product elegant and high quality wines.

San Polino – A small but well run wine farm producing organic products with 3 hectares of vineyards, and surrounded by woodlands and greenery. Great attention is paid to quality and substance of the soil, believing that it plays a vital part in the taste of the wine. Their first Brunello was produced in 2001 and have gone on to continue their success producing some excellent wines since.

Tenuta Le Potazzine – An active, yet small estate, run by the support of one family, this estate is located in a beautiful area close to the historical centre. Despite its small capacity in comparison to other wineries, the Tenuta Le Potazzzine is well regarded and has traded with various countries worldwide.
