Montalcino Castle - Siena
Dating back to 1361, Montalcino Castle is located in Siena in Southern Tuscany. It is a wash with local history and has a history of being the main focal point of many rebellions. The castle is practically intact today and its structure is in a classical pentagonal shape. Set on the crest of a hill overlooking the town of Montalcino, this prominent structure literally towers over and dominates this historical town.

Castle Montegonzi - Chianti
Home to a delightful hamlet of houses, Castle Montegonzi is located in the picturesque town of Greve in Chianti. Set amongst beautiful olive groves and vineyards, this 12th century castle has recently been restored to its original state using as much as the original stonework as possible to recreated the buildings to its most natural aesthetic state.

Cafaggiolo Castle - Florence
Located 25km north of the town of Florence, Cafaggiolo Castle was originally built in the 14th Century. In 1864 it was sold to the Borghese family who made substantial changes to the look of the castle, which can still be seen today. Nipozzano Castle - Florence
Set high upon a hill, dominating the area and boasting views over the Arno and Sieve rivers, the Nipozzano Castle dates as far back as 1164. Damaged by German bombs during World War 2 in 1944, the castle has been reconstructed and has a distinct character showing the medieval age that it was built in. Barbischio Castle - Siena
Overlooking the town of Gaiole in Chianti, Barbischio Castle has history dating back as far as 1086. Originally used as an outpost for the Florentine defences due to the large bell tower, the castle was largely destroyed following a raid by the Sienese army. Now restored it is home to private residency.

Albola Castle - Chianti
Looking as much today as in the past, as a classic Tuscan mountain stronghold, Albola Castle dates back to 13th century. Recently the object of a large restoration programme, Albola Castle is now privately owned. The castle is located at the source of the river Pesa that leads down to the valley of the Hung River.
